SKIING WEEK

In Catalonia the "White week" was the 2nd of March.
During this week teachers and pupils have holidays to do what they want.

Me, in the "white week" I did a lot of things, but not too much homerwork-I must confess. First of all, all the mornings except the Wednesday morning, I was training girls and boys to learn many things about basket, these trainings started at 10 o'clock and finished at 13 o'clock; I learned a lot how to get along with children, and teach them how to respect the rules.
In the afternoons I did some homework, and I also met my friends.

But the best days were Tuesday afternoons and all Wednesday, because I went to Oriol's cottage with 20 people. When we arrived there, we had lunch, then we had dinner, finally we slept there. The next day we had breakfast and lunch and then we came back to Barcelona.

To sum up, the skiing week was amazing!!!

The disaster of Japan

Last Friday, 11th march 2011, a 9 Richter scale earthquake hit the North of Japan. The earth started shaking for  two minutes and a half and a tsuamani rocked the offshore areas.

The consequences of the tsunami have been devastating and perhaps weeks of future anxiety before the consequences of the explosion in the Fukushima nuclear plant are finally understood. And months or years to repair the devastation caused along the northeast coast of Japan by the greatest tsunami created by a quake measuring 8.9 on the Richter scale that the Japanese archipelago has suffered since regular records began in 1900.
Nowadays the fear of Japanese are at the beginnig of a nuclear explosion that could cause a nuclear blast
and the possibility of a new earthquake 7 on the Richter scale within the next day.

Me TV

Today, 3rd and 4rd ESO students from Angeleta Ferrer have seen a play in English named Me Tv in the Auditori of Sant Cugat.
The play is about a boy called Ben, whose life is bored and a rutin. He's in love with Susan, the blonde beautiful girl of the school. One day he meets two agents who try to turn him into a famous character. The agents dress Ben with ridiculous clothes making the audience choose the clothes.
Affter dressing Ben, the agents try to turn Ben into a popstar, then an actor but they do not succeed. Some students have taken part in the play, dancing, singing, reading sentences...
The play is very funny. I would rate it 7

Hip Hop

Hello everybody I'm Lea and I'm going to explain you about my school of hip hop.
It's situated in Sant Cugat near the police station. It is not a big dance school but we have two classes, one is upstairs and the other is just in front of the secretary's office. The name of the school is ''Escola Sant Cugat''.
Before, we could do karate but now we do just Hip Hop.
This school is considered to have a good level, because we have won a lot of trophies and one student is the 5th of Spain.

Saint Valentine's Day

Yesterday, it was Saint Valentine's Day 14th February 2011 which is best known like "The be loved day".
Valentine's day started in time of the Roman Empire. February 14th was a holiday to honour Juno. Nowadays St Valentine's has become the date for exchanging love messages and celebrations of St Valentine, the patron saint of lovers. The date is marked by sending poems and simples gifts, for example flowers.
One year ago a man who loves so much his girlfriend gift a house with a notice board saying:
If she wanted to get married with him, this story appeared on the news.
